Statement of Purpose - Established in 1981, our Spirit-filled Southern California ministry of more than 1,000 active members exists to propagate the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to disciple believers and to strengthen and to establish churches throughout the world. We have committed ourselves to present the Gospel in a relevant and fresh manner that will impact the lives of individuals of all races,cultures and social classes.
In addition to our local congregation at Pomona, California, we also exists as an affiliated group of some 25 Shield of Faith churches around the United States. Shield of Faith congregations exist in Pomona, Pasadena, Rancho Cucamonga, Riverside, San Diego, Adelanto, Victorville, Apple Valley, Berkeley and Fremont,California: We have other congregations in Brooklyn, New York, St. Petersburg Florida, Las Vegas, Nevada, Memphis and Nashville, Tennessee and other cities.
Shield of Faith churches have a special burden for the youth and families of the inner-cities in which most of our congregations are located.
